Omron has opened a new automation center in Tokyo.

The industrial automation giant Omron has opened a new automation center in Shinagawa, Tokyo. The facility is called "ATC" and is intended for customers cooperating with Omron to find solutions to production problems. It is the 37th center of Omron's factory automation technology that allows customers to experience and test the most modern factory automation that integrates artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, robotics and other state-of-the-art technologies.

ATC-Tokyo enables customers to observe the production development of innovative automation and Omron's unique innovation concept that helps solve the problems of manufacturers from around the world. Customers also have the opportunity to test many personalized solutions to problems encountered in production halls using innovative technologies and applications created thanks to the optimal combination of over 200,000 different types of Omron control devices. The facility has a seminar room in which customers can take advantage of technical training that will allow them to acquire the knowledge needed to introduce selected devices.

Near the ATC-Tokyo is the Automation Center Tokyo POC Lab (POC-Tokyo) in which customers have the opportunity to conduct demonstration tests in a simulated usage environment thanks to which they will be able to verify processes using various robots such as collaborative robots and mobile robots.

Omron cooperates with its clients to develop innovative solutions to problems related to production and wants to help renew the way of production, solve social problems and enrich people's lives around the world.

The best example of such Omron activities is the creation of such facilities. It is also worth mentioning the Omron Innovation Center, which plays an important role in the Omron partner program. System integrators and machine manufacturers can use the laboratory and expert knowledge of Omron engineers to develop project assumptions, prepare proof of concept projects, as well as conduct their own tests and research.
