It operates with a 24 V DC supply voltage and consumes a maximum of 3.4 W, ensuring reliable performance in industrial settings. The DFP21B supports automatic baud rate detection ranging from 9.6 kBaud to 12 Mbaud, accommodating various network configurations. It features a 9-pin Sub-D connector for PROFIBUS communication, with bus termination achieved through an appropriate PROFIBUS connector with switchable termination resistors. The module's station address is configurable between 1 and 125 via DIP switches, facilitating easy network integration.
