Polish business in increasingly good shape

Polish business in increasingly good shape

- What is the condition of Polish business? In my opinion, it is getting better and better - said Dawid Pałka during his visit to our studio. Is it really as colourful as Maciej Szczotka's guest believes?

Challenges and optimism

It is certain that a really difficult time is behind business in our country. Challenges from events such as the pandemic, the subsequent lockdowns and border closures that led to supply chain problems, or finally the war and the energy crisis. Quite a lot, isn't it?

So why such optimism from Dawid Pałka, who is involved in personal branding and image creation, but in addition to this is an active entrepreneur with several companies with international reach in his portfolio.

The great transformation

- From my observations of business and what's going on in the market, it seems that we are currently undergoing a big transformation - said our guest. - This coarse system, which still remembers the times of the PRL, is finally going into oblivion. I am, of course, talking about this hand-controlled economy with huge production plants, which is now turning into an increasingly light business - he added.

The economic and business transformation is of course linked to generational changes. More and more young people have fresh ideas and are not afraid to materialise them by starting their own companies. - That is what is cool, that a lot of young people have woken up - said Pałka.

It is no longer a wet dream

- After all, we all remember the situation when working in American corporations was such a wet dream for young people. For the likes of Microsoft or Google. God, how it glowed in the distance on a CV - he continued.

Is it still so sexy to work for the giants in the market today? - Times have changed and working for these corporations is not such a wet dream anymore. For young people at the moment it's important to create their businesses, their start-ups. And that is interesting for them - he added.

- And this is all in line with the trend of young people. This is not 2012, when it was said that the best way to work was in these corporations or factories. Meanwhile, today people want to make things happen, they want to do cool things out of passion. So in my opinion these businesses will grow in Poland - he concluded.
