What do you think customers most often ask when talking about used and remanufactured parts? What is it, apart from the price, of course, the most on their minds when making purchasing decisions?

You can of course guess and speculate, but we decided to check at the source - sellers who have dozens of conversations with customers every day. Customers that cannot be put in one bag. Each of them is different, each approaches the company they addressed in their own way, but the common denominator of such contacts is almost always a matter of certainty. This, in turn, can only be gained by betting on a proven partner.

It is not always the price that decides

What's with this "certainty" anyway? In our survey, in which we asked about your considerations when choosing a company that supplies parts, components, services and semi-finished products for your business, it turned out that as many as 41 percent of respondents indicated confidence in the supplier. Only further places were such aspects as availability, price and delivery time. This shows quite clearly that the client is ready to spend a little more money, but to gain certain guarantees that will ensure a good night's sleep.

Based on this assumption, any questions about remanufactured or just used parts are perfectly right. The customer would like to be sure that when buying such a component or the entire device, he will get a 100% functional product. One that will not have to be replaced again after a few weeks or even days, and at the same time exposing yourself to additional costs. No wonder sellers hear questions about the quality of such parts much more often than about the possibility of negotiating the price or possible discounts? Although here a little clarification comes in handy: this question is asked mainly by those who decide to use used or remanufactured components for the first time, as well as those for whom it is not the first, but previously encountered partners who have failed so difficult to build trust in the industry.

Myths to fight against

In such moments, it is worth and should dispel any doubts of the client. Describe to him the features of such parts and devices, debunk the myths that linger in society all the time and explain that there is nothing to fear. For many, the "used" or "refurbished" accessory is still off-putting. Something that has just negative connotations.

Therefore, it is worth reading the text on lies and half-truths about these components. It is worth exploring your knowledge and finding out for yourself that there is nothing to be afraid of.

An argument that should in turn be the so-called "game changer" is the issue of guarantees. Many companies offer their clients only the starting ones, some decide on a monthly option, possibly extended by a few additional weeks. It does not necessarily inspire confidence.
