Description

The Allen-Bradley 1747-L511 is a modular CPU processor from the SLC 500 series, designed for small-scale industrial automation applications. It offers 1K instructions of user memory and supports up to 960 local digital I/O points and 480 local analog I/O points. The processor communicates via a built-in DH-485 port, facilitating peer-to-peer messaging response. It is programmed using RSLogix 500 software and occupies Slot 0 of a 1746 modular chassis. The 1747-L511 was discontinued by Rockwell Automation as of January 31, 2017, but remains available through surplus channels for legacy system maintenance.
