Description

The Allen-Bradley 1747-L542 is a modular SLC 5/04 processor designed for the SLC 500 series, offering 32K words of user memory (28K for programs and data, 4K for data only). It supports up to 4,096 discrete inputs and outputs, along with up to 480 analog I/O points, making it suitable for complex industrial automation tasks. The processor features built-in communication ports, including Data Highway Plus (DH+) for high-speed peer-to-peer networking and RS-232 for direct PC programming. It operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F) and requires an external power supply, such as the 1746-P4 or 1746-P7. The 1747-L542 is compatible with RSLogix 500 programming software and is mounted in slot 0 of any SLC 500 modular chassis.
