Description

The Beckhoff BK2020 is an Economy plus Bus Coupler designed to integrate the Lightbus system with Beckhoff's modular electronic terminal blocks. This coupler supports up to 64 bus terminals, expandable to 255 with the K-bus extension, facilitating scalable industrial automation solutions. It processes up to 1,020 digital signals and a maximum of 128 analog input and output channels per slave, ensuring efficient data handling. The BK2020 operates with a 24 V DC power supply and features a data transfer rate of 2.5 Mbaud, utilizing standard fiber-optic connectors (Z1000 for plastic fiber and Z1010 for HCS fiber) for reliable communication. Its compact design, measuring 51 mm x 100 mm x 69 mm and weighing approximately 150 g, allows for flexible installation on a 35 mm DIN rail. The coupler is engineered to function within an operating temperature range of 0 to 55°C, making it suitable for various industrial environments. Additionally, it complies with multiple standards, including CE, UL, ATEX, and IECEx, ensuring safety and reliability in diverse applications.
