Description

The Beckhoff EL6740-0010 is an EtherCAT Terminal designed to facilitate seamless data exchange between EtherCAT and Interbus systems. This compact terminal serves as an Interbus slave, enabling efficient communication by mirroring up to 32-word input and 32-word output between the two bus systems with minimal delay. Operating at data transfer rates of 500 kbit/s and 2 Mbit/s, it supports Interbus protocols up to a baud rate of 2 Mbit/s. The terminal features two 9-pin D-sub connectors with screening and vibration locks, ensuring secure and reliable connections. With a typical current consumption of 450 mA from the E-bus, it operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 55°C and has a storage temperature range of -25°C to +85°C.
