Description

The GE Fanuc IC693CMM311S is a Communications Coprocessor Module designed for Series 90-30 modular CPUs, excluding embedded models like 311, 313, or 323. This module enhances communication capabilities by supporting multiple protocols: GE Fanuc CCM, SNP, and RTU (Modbus) slave. It features two serial ports: Port 1 supports RS-232 applications, while Port 2 accommodates both RS-232 and RS-485 applications. Both ports are connected to a single connector, and a wye cable (IC693CBL305) is included to separate the two ports for simplified wiring. The module operates with an internal power requirement of 400 mA at 5 VDC. It is compatible with up to four Communications Coprocessor Modules per CPU baseplate for models 331 and above. This module is ideal for applications requiring robust communication capabilities in industrial automation systems.
