The Mitsubishi A1S68TD is an 8-channel thermocouple input module designed for the MELSEC-A series programmable controllers. It enables precise temperature measurements by supporting various thermocouple types, including B, R, S, K, E, J, and T. Each channel offers a temperature measurement range from 0°C to 1700°C, with conversion accuracy varying by thermocouple type. The module provides a 16-bit signed binary output for detected temperature values and features a maximum conversion speed of 400 ms for all 8 channels. It also includes cold junction compensation to ensure accurate readings. The A1S68TD is equipped with a 20-point terminal block for easy wiring and is compatible with the MELSEC-A series PLCs. Note that this model has been discontinued as of September 2014, with the R60TD8-G serving as its replacement.
