The Mitsubishi FX2N-8EX-ES/UL is an 8-point digital input extension module designed for the MELSEC-F series compact PLCs. Each input point has a current consumption of approximately 5 mA at 24 V DC, ensuring efficient power usage. The input response time is approximately 10 ms, suitable for most industrial applications. The module features photocoupler insulation between the field and logic circuits, enhancing noise immunity and protecting the PLC from electrical surges. Each input point is equipped with an LED indicator, providing clear status feedback. The module has a compact design with dimensions of approximately 25.4 x 90 x 90 mm and weighs about 0.2 kg, making it suitable for installations with space constraints.
