The Sew-Eurodrive DFS21B is a fieldbus interface option module designed for seamless integration with MOVIDRIVE® MDX61B and MOVITRAC® B inverters. This module enables efficient communication between inverters and higher-level automation systems via the PROFINET IO protocol, facilitating both cyclical and acyclical data exchange. It also supports safety-oriented communication through PROFIsafe, allowing for the activation of safe outputs. Additionally, the DFS21B features an integrated web server, enabling users to access diagnostic data using standard web browsers. Key technical specifications include an external voltage supply of DC 24 V (–15%, +20%), a maximum current draw of 200 mA, and a maximum power consumption of 3.4 W. The module operates at a baud rate of 100 Mbaud in full duplex mode and utilizes two RJ45 connectors with an internal switch and auto-crossing for connectivity.
