The Siemens 3RW4445-6BC44 is a SIRIUS soft starter designed for efficient motor control in industrial applications. Operating within a voltage range of 200 to 460 V AC and a control voltage of 230 V AC, it offers a rated operational current of 313 A at 40°C, suitable for standard circuits. In inside-delta configurations, it handles up to 542 A at 40°C. The device supports motor ratings up to 160 kW at 400 V and 40°C in standard circuits, and up to 315 kW at 400 V and 40°C in inside-delta circuits. Its compact dimensions of 210 x 230 x 298 mm and weight of 11.16 kg make it suitable for various industrial environments. The 3RW4445-6BC44 features an integrated bypass contact system, thyristors, intrinsic device protection, motor overload protection, evaluation of thermistor motor protection, external reset, adjustable current limitation, and an inside-delta circuit. It has an insulation voltage rated value of 690 V and complies with IEC 60947-4-2 standards. This model has been phased out, with the SIRIUS 3RW5 series, particularly the 3RW5545-6HA14, recommended as its successor.
