This module serves as an AS-Interface Master, facilitating seamless communication between automation components. It operates within a voltage range of 24 V DC, drawing a maximum current of 200 mA from the backplane bus. The device features a 20-pin front connector for AS-Interface integration and offers redundancy capabilities when used with a redundant IM153 module. With dimensions of 125 mm in length, 40 mm in width, and 120 mm in depth, it has a net weight of 0.25 kg. The module is rated for protection class IP20, ensuring adequate protection against dust and contact with hazardous parts. Please note that as of October 1, 2023, this product has been phased out and succeeded by the CM AS-Interface Master ST for SIMATIC ET 200SP (3RK7137-6SA00-0BC1).
