The Poznań International Fair has once again become the centre of industrial innovation. We are, of course, talking about the latest edition of ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE – an event that sets the direction for the development of modern industry in Poland and the Central and Eastern European region.

Even before it started, this edition promised to be exceptional – full of interactivity, innovative solutions and practical demonstrations of technology.
The future of industry here and now
The motto of this year's fair is a practical approach to the digital and technological transformation of industry. The organisers focus on the real-world application of innovation – participants can not only familiarise themselves with the exhibitors' offerings, but also take part in training sessions, tests and demonstrations. The event becomes a space where visions of the modern factory materialise before the eyes of visitors.
Industry in its full spectrum
The fair covers as many as ten pavilions, which house both exhibitors' displays and specially arranged thematic zones. The largest halls are dedicated to specific industries - pavilion 5 presents solutions in the field of metalworking and laser technologies, as well as the foundry sector as part of the FOCAST Salon. Pavilions 3 and 3A are dominated by companies offering cutting machines and precision machining tools, while Pavilion 4 has become the centre for automation and robotics.
The fair also includes accompanying events such as MODERNLOG, SUBCONTRACTING and a new initiative - the European Science Fair, which integrates science with industry and supports technology transfer.
A vision of a new generation of industry
One of the key attractions of this year's edition is the extensive ‘Factory of the Future’ zone, created in cooperation with DBR77 and its technology partners. This zone presents four key areas of modern production: digitisation, automation, advanced management and social innovation.
The programme includes, among others, the ‘Women of the Factory of the Future’ conference, dedicated to the role of women in modern industry and the importance of diverse teams. In addition, there are panels on the use of artificial intelligence in plant management and the role of automation in increasing production efficiency.
There will also be demonstrations of technologies such as digital twins, augmented and virtual reality, and an industrial marketplace. In the networking zone, participants can exchange experiences and ideas with market leaders.
Safety and technology in practice
The Safety Zone in 2025 has gained special importance. Here, visitors can see for themselves how to design and implement solutions that increase safety in industrial plants. Failure simulations, crash tests and machine safety demonstrations organised by leading health and safety solution providers are planned.
Another interesting novelty is the Demobus Zone – mobile demonstration units located in the open air. This is an alternative form of presenting machines and systems in a realistic environment, allowing direct contact with the devices and their creators.
Cobots and the thrill of competition
One of the most dynamically developing areas of industry is collaborative robots – cobots. The ITM trade fair has provided a separate zone for them, where visitors will be able to see how these intelligent machines support people at work, increasing the safety and efficiency of plants. Demonstrations of the latest models and control systems are conducted by renowned manufacturers.
For fans of technical challenges and competition, the Pneumat.GAME tournament is once again taking place. This is a spectacular competition between maintenance teams, where knowledge, reflexes and the ability to work under pressure are what count.
A trade fair with vision and substance
ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE 2025 is therefore invariably more than just a trade fair. It is a meeting place for industry leaders, innovators, engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs. It is a place where ideas and practical solutions collide, providing an impetus for implementing changes in production plants.
Year after year, the event attracts an increasing number of professionals – the previous edition was visited by almost 15,000 guests, and over 700 companies presented their solutions. Everything indicates that this year's edition – looking at the numerous and hard data – will be even more spectacular.
