The Allen-Bradley 1769-SDN is a DeviceNet Scanner Module designed for seamless integration with CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 controllers. This module enables efficient communication between a CompactLogix controller and up to 63 DeviceNet devices, facilitating real-time data exchange and device coordination within automation systems. It supports communication rates of 125, 250, and 500 Kbps, ensuring flexibility in network configurations. The module operates within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 60°C (32°F to 140°F), making it suitable for various industrial environments. Its compact dimensions of 118 mm (height) x 87 mm (depth) x 35 mm (width) allow for flexible installation options, including DIN rail or panel mounting. The 1769-SDN is equipped with a single DeviceNet open-style 5-pin linear plug for network connectivity. As of December 31, 2025, this product has been discontinued and is no longer available for sale. Customers are encouraged to consider the 1788-EN2DNR as a replacement.
