Description

The Allen-Bradley 1771-OBD is a 16-point digital output module designed for use with the PLC-5 system. It operates within a voltage range of 10 to 60 VDC, with a nominal output of 48 VDC, and provides 16 non-isolated outputs. Each output channel is rated for 2 A with resistive loads, not exceeding a total of 8 A per module. The module features a minimum surge current rating of 4 A per output for 10 ms, repeatable every 2 seconds, and a maximum of 25 A per output for 10 ms, repeatable every 2 seconds. The on-state voltage drop is 1.5 V DC, and the off-state leakage current is 0.5 mA. The module has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F) and a storage temperature range of -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F). It is compatible with 1771-A1B through 1771-A4B I/O chassis, excluding the 1771-A4 I/O chassis, and can be mounted using field wiring arms such as 1771-WH, 1771-WHF, and 1771-WHFB. The module is discontinued as of January 31, 2021, and is no longer available for sale.
