The Beckhoff KL9010 is a K-Bus end terminal essential for data exchange between the Bus Coupler and Bus Terminals in Beckhoff's modular I/O system. Each Bus Terminal block must be terminated at the right-hand end with a KL9010 to ensure proper bus communication. This terminal does not provide any other function or connection facility. It features a compact polycarbonate housing measuring 12 mm in width, 100 mm in height, and 68 mm in depth, designed for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail (EN 60715) with a locking mechanism. The KL9010 is suitable for side-by-side mounting with Bus Terminals both with and without power contacts. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -25°C to +60°C and has a storage temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The terminal has a protection class of IP20 and is approved for CE, CCC, UL, ATEX, IECEx, DNV GL, and cFMus standards. Notably, it is certified for use in potentially explosive areas under ATEX II 3 G Ex ec IIC T4 Gc and IECEx Ex ec IIC T4 Gc.
