It is critical for the protective cables to be connected first when installing and the last to disconnect when de-installing for safety reasons. The NFD03.1-480-007 should be vertically positioned, handled only after power disconnection for five minutes, and its connecting cables and earth connection should be kept short. The device effectively prevents encoders and sensors failure while eliminating interference caused by phase controllers, motors, and switch mode power supplies. Its terminals have an AWG 12 cross-section and important to maintain low impedance earthing. Exceeding the filter's throughput rating, even with the peak current rating from the servo amplifier, could nullify the filtering effect.
